SendPulse integration & automation

Email, SMS and messenger chatbots that start from what just happened in your CRM

SendPulse is more than a mailing tool: address books, Automation 360 chains, chatbots in Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Viber, SMS and its own CRM live in one account. We connect it to the systems where your team actually works, so a new client lands in the right address book on their own, an event in your system starts the right chain, and what a person writes to the bot or does with a message comes back to their card.

What we connect

  • Contacts from your CRM, site or forms go into the right SendPulse address book together with their fields — name, city, order stage — so a chain can address a person properly without anyone uploading a file.
  • An event in your system — a paid order, a stalled deal, a finished consultation — is sent to SendPulse and starts the Automation 360 chain you built for it.
  • Chatbots in Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Viber stop being a separate world: a new subscriber and their messages reach your CRM, so a manager continues the conversation with the history in front of them.
  • SMS goes out from where the reason for it appears — an order status change or a reminder before a visit — using the phone numbers your CRM already holds.
  • What happens with a letter — opened, clicked, unsubscribed, bounced — comes back into the client's card instead of staying inside SendPulse reports.
  • Access is set up once in the SendPulse account: either a dedicated key or a temporary access that renews itself every hour, both stored on our side rather than passed around.
  • SendPulse describes its tools in a form AI assistants understand, so an assistant on your side can put a contact into a book or check a chatbot without a person clicking through the interface.

Automation scenarios

01

A new lead appears in the CRM

Before the lead sits in the CRM, and the welcome series starts only when someone remembers to upload a file into SendPulse.

After the contact lands in the right address book with its fields, the event starts the Automation 360 chain, and the first letter goes out the same day.

02

A client writes to the Telegram or Instagram bot

Before the conversation lives only inside the bot, and the manager finds out about it when the client calls, annoyed.

After the new subscriber and their message reach the CRM as a card and a task, so the manager replies with the whole history in front of them.

03

An order changes status

Before the manager types the SMS about the shipment by hand or forgets it.

After the status change in your system sends the SMS through SendPulse on its own, using the number already in the client's card.

04

A client opens a letter or unsubscribes

Before opens and unsubscribes are visible only in SendPulse reports, and sales keeps calling people who have already opted out.

After each such event comes back into the client's card in the CRM, so a warm reader gets a call and an unsubscribed one is left alone.

How it works technically

For those who want to check: each point links to the official documentation page it comes from.

  • Temporary access is obtained programmatically with a Client ID and Client Secret; it stays valid for 1 hour, and a new one is requested only after the current one expires.

  • Address books (mailing lists) can be created, edited and deleted through the documented interface, along with other operations on existing lists.

  • Automation 360 accepts events created and sent from an external system; such an event starts an automation, and created events can be managed afterwards.

  • Chatbots can send notifications to an external handler whenever subscribers interact with the bot — a new subscription, an incoming or outgoing message, a failed delivery.

  • SendPulse exposes its chatbot builder, email service, CRM and automation to AI assistants as native tools through a dedicated server, so an assistant can call them without written code.

Limits

Requests per minute and per day are capped, and the size of the cap depends on the tier of the SendPulse plan the account is on. During a large sync we pace requests to stay inside it, so a send waits a moment instead of failing.

How to start

Three steps from a first message to work on your project.

  1. 01

    Leave a request

Describe the task in the form — in text or by voice. Budget and timing are optional.

  2. 02

    We review and estimate

A developer studies the brief, asks about anything unclear and sends an estimate.

  3. 03

    We start

Once scope and price are agreed, the work begins.

Questions

Which messengers can the chatbot part cover?
SendPulse builds bots for Facebook, Instagram, Viber, TikTok, WhatsApp and Telegram. What a subscriber does in the bot — subscribes, writes, gets a message that fails to deliver — can be passed on to your CRM.
Does our SendPulse plan affect what we can connect?
The connection itself works on any plan, but the number of requests allowed per minute and per day depends on the plan's tier. For a large base we plan the sync around that limit rather than pushing everything at once.
Do we have to hand over the SendPulse login and password?
No. The account issues either a dedicated key or a pair of identifiers that gives temporary access renewed every hour. Either one is stored on our side, and you can revoke it in the account at any time.
We already use another CRM — what about the CRM built into SendPulse?
SendPulse opens its own CRM to outside systems as well, so both can be kept in step. At the review we agree which system holds the master record for a client, so the two never argue about who is right.
